- Part of the gateway entrance to the Texas A&M University System RELLIS Campus (formerly Riverside Campus) from SH 47. The intersection was added when RELLIS Parkway (the leg to the northwest) was completed in 2018 (approximately). It was built as a bit of a hybrid, in terms of the number of lanes, in that the circulating roadway does not have two lanes all the way around, but it's built so that the second lane can be added for all movements as the need develops.
